I am a first-year MSAI student working on developing a web interface for the Spatial Equilibrium Timber Supply (SETS) model alongside Dr. da Silva and Joseph Vos. This project will allow users to interact with the model, run custom and preset scenarios, and display visualizations based on the model's output. In addition to this, I am working on my thesis project, titled "Harnessing Reinforcement Learning for Forest Growth Modeling Under Uncertainty" which seeks to implement a modular and extensible "digital twin" forest growth simulator to explore the effects of uncertainty on stand level management decisions.
