My study evaluates the suitability of TreeMap, a large-scale vegetation database, to derive stand-level characteristics by comparing its tree species classification, diameter, height, basal area, and volume estimates with field measurements from Talladega National Forest. The analysis involves overlaying FIA plot locations with corresponding TreeMap data, extracting vegetation attributes, and assessing agreement using regression analysis and error metrics such as RMSE.
